The focus throughout the Jubilee of King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway was on them and their immediate family but they had other royal support there, too. And at the end of a perfect day of celebrations, we got a formal portrait of the kings and queens who had taken part in the festivities.

The photo showed Harald and Sonja with King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden and Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and was taken an the evening celebration at the Royal Palace in Oslo at the end of a long, busy, happy day of celebrations to mark the 25th anniversary of the accession of Norway's king and queen.  There were other images too, with the Danish Royal Household releasing a portrait of the three monarchs together.

Margrethe also joined the two queen consorts present for another photo for the history books.

But in the end, this Jubilee was all about family and it ended with a huge family photo taken as the royal couple and their guests prepared to end the festivities that had marked the Silver Jubilee. The whole day was a huge success and will go down in the history books - with a very special royal portrait to accompany it.
